Facade Stories

This is a collection of poems I've written for about two years. Some are a lot more recent than that, and they cover a wide range of topics. If you don't want to read one, don't. They go in no particular order. Any comments and critiques would be very greatly appreciated! Thanks<3

Jacky, the girl filled with happiness and joy. But that doesn't mean she's happy inside out. Her cheerful personality is just a facade to hide her hearbreak from his first love, Kevin.

The Kingdom built by her father, destroyed by his daughter. The sword that she held, pointed at her. The puppet she played with, cut all its strings. Her ultimate strength becomes her very weakness. The beautiful chamber of the Princess, reduced to a Prison. Princess Cynthia of Vanevia was owed the Kingdom when she shall come of age. Standing in her way was the current rulers--King Marvin--previously advisor to the last King, the Princess' father--and Queen Merida--the mastermind. While thrown with anything to stop her ascension, the Princess faces many obstacles, which only made her stronger. Little did she know, fate had other plans. When the Princess loses heart, the beast within her surfaces. WARNING: Brutal Violence.

First story

Every next level of your life demands a different you. So what are the odds if a sweet and naive teenage girl transforms herself into a role, for which she wasn't ready at all, to cope up with her life? A woman with two faces. A mother with two lives. Is she harmful in any way? No, she isn't. But her messed up past is. Away from her family, she created her own family. A family with two adorable kids, friends to stand by her and colleagues to support her. Why there was a need for her to be the way she is now? Though she thinks that she is over him, she couldn't resist him. And Ryan wasn't the one to back off when he finally got a hold on her. Things change, heart breaks, past chases the present to become the future and pretty much love reunites, making her realize that things left undone needs to be served rather than masquerading ones' true self.

The story encompasses the double lives of Daniel Moe and Tonya Moe, a 'perfect relationship'. A couple that love each other dearly enough to not share there deepest-darkest secrets. However, with a relationship's foundation built with lies, how soon will it crumble with a bit more baggage?

From dystopian thriller to psychological drama to romantic-suspense to adventure elements to science fiction elements to New Adult themes, each topic and genre piece I use is to create the world-building, move the plot along, and serve the emotional development of my characters. Tropes and archetypes are not the focus. All characters are their messy selves, and what they do and what they think is a direct extension of their personalities and backgrounds. This book's about Anya as she learns who she is and what she ultimately wants from her life. This is the backbone of the book.

Written like parts of a play. This poem describes the feelings of a girl who experiences life as if someone else is controlling her strings and then finally gains her own voice in the Finale.

de·pres·sion /dəˈpreSH(ə)n/ Noun feelings of severe despondency and dejection. ///// America does very well in hiding his depression from the other nations, using his hero persona to mask the real him. The mess he was and what an utter failure he felt like. The mask begins to slip, revealing a tiny bit of the person he tries so hard to forget. When the other nations take notice, they start to suspect that their superpower isn't as happy as he seems. ... Book 1 of the Mask series (Book 2 being made)

This is just a little something I came up with when I watched the Great Gatsby with added personal feelings of myself and a tribute to anyone else having to put on a performance to ' fit in '. Enjoy my loyal fans and any new fans. ^.^

A poem about love?

bitch- a malicious, spiteful, or overbearing woman -sometimes used as a generalized term of abuse I am a gang member. I am a smoker. I am a street a fighter. I am a stoner. I was a sister. I am a daughter. I am a bitch. I am Lilliana Sanchez. ♛ Lilliana Sanchez is a troublemaker. She's done it all.. steal cars, rob stores, rob houses, underage drinking, underage smoking, anything. You name it. She's been sent to prison. She's a juvenile. She literally was just sent back to Hawaii from boarding school. And her parents wont deal with her anymore. They've tried everything. Therapy, punishments.... So, they moved away. To California. 2,467 miles from her home. They wanted to start fresh. On top of that, her parents aren't making enough bills, so street fighting isn't an option, it's a priority. Axel Gray is your typical bad boy. He's just like Lilliana, except she doesn't go sleeping around. He's pretty popular, wait scratch that, he is the definition of popular. My thoughts on life in the form of poetry that I know of. Don't go into this thinking it'll be the traditional style of poetry, cause it is not. These are just my thoughts. I DO NOT ENCOURAGE SELF-HARM.
