Yet, I stand there, gun in hand, blood dripping from my small fingers, clothes bloodied. Ah, Mum would scold me if she saw I got my clothes dirty, but she's not here to do that anymore. His body lies there utterly still. Bullets go wildly in his face, one through his cheek, another through his mouth, another between his eyes. Good. He's dead.
