Rachel Wyatt's goals in life use to be very average. Go to college, get a job, have a family. The normal goals for any sixteen year old girl. But all of those goals changed when the invasion happened and civilization was wiped out. Now Rachel and her mother Eva (a former army veteran) are fighting with a group known as the 2nd Mass, who's goal is to take back earth from the aliens. Rachel's life may be drastically different from before but Rachel refuses to let that ruin her. Instead she's going to let it turn her into someone who's never going to stop fighting; someone who will never give up.

I wasn't sure why I whispering, but I chalked it up to not wanting to ruin the nonexistent moment. "Nothings wrong." She says in that soft voice of hers. "At least, not at the moment." She adds, whispering. She moved her head a little more into the pillow, causing her hair to fall in front of her face. I couldn't resist the urge to tuck the stands behind her ear. She opened her eyes and looked directly in mine. In that moment, there wasn't anything wrong.

Falling Skies fan fiction

Claire Mason, an ex-soldier who served the US Army at Afghanistan for 4 years and the only daughter of Tom and Rebecca Mason. Her status was unknown but her family believed that she's dead on the day of the invasion. What happen when she came back 6 months after the alien invasion? What if she's not normal like the other human? What will the 2nd Mass and her family react?

Autumn Lanson's life gets turned around when Earth is hit by an alien apocalypse. Now, instead of cars and trucks flooding the roads, skitters and mechs scatter the abandoned streets. She is a normal teenage girl trying to survive in an unusual world. Throughout all this chaotic mess. Autumn manages to make friends with the 2nd Mass, a group of survivors who are fighting their way through war against the aliens. However, one person to her is special amidst this group: Ben Mason. Can they survive together through this tragedy? Ultimately, does love still exist in the now-distorted reality?
