Param wasn't someone who forgot easily. Not the moments, not the feelings especially the ones that stayed long after everything else had moved on.
Life hadn't been particularly kind to him. Growing up meant learning things earlier than he should have how to stay quiet, how to adjust, how to carry emotions without showing them. While others moved through life lightly, Param learned to hold things in, to deal with everything on his own.
School was one of the few phases where things felt almost normal. A time where life wasn't just about responsibilities or expectations, where he could be someone simpler, someone lighter. But even that didn't last the way he hoped it would.
As the years passed, reality settled in. Responsibilities grew heavier, expectations louder, and somewhere in between, Param slowly lost parts of himself. He built a life that looked stable a routine, a job, a place where he belonged ... but none of it ever really filled the emptiness he carried.
He became someone who functioned well on the outside, but inside, there was always something unresolved. Not one big moment, not one clear reason... just a collection of things that never sat right, never healed completely.
And maybe that was the hardest part.
Because Param didn't break all at once...
he just kept learning how to live with it.
