Three male dragons, Alex, Ivi and Arilabrithion, hopelessly and completely in love for over a millennium, a happily married triple, show their ability to support children as part of their commitment to be peace bringers, and later become, at the urging of the goddess Hale and with her close support, the caregivers and guardians for three young blue dragon brothers, lost, lonely and alone. So begins the Caregivers saga, the story of those men, those fathers, and the lives and adventures of their sons, Kriezan, Maemektix and Tokus. This collection comprises twelve separate stories, some singular parts, others divided into chapters, telling the tale of the family thus created and the adventures the brothers have as they live out their lives with their fathers' support. It includes love stories, stories of bringing up children, stories of mistakes, stories featuring characters from my other tales, and others, all of which link to each other. A few sections of the story have minor elements of mature content and where this is the case and where I don't think editing will help, I will either publish the offending paragraphs in a separate document, or else will blank out a word or two and replace it with ______. I will highlight when I have done this but for the most part, the tales within this collection are not mature, in the sense that they do not actively describe sex or violence in any way gratuitously. They might on occasion mention sex or lovemaking, but not in an explicit way, and there will be the occasional swearing and bad language and indication of fighting. The collection begins with the story of the title, Caregivers, which has four chapters.

The orchard has witnessed everything. First kisses and last goodbyes. Marriages born from necessity and love grown from patience. Children who left and grandchildren who returned. Harvests that saved them and winters that broke them. Ellie Whitaker never wanted to stay. She had poems in her pockets and cities in her dreams. But debt has a way of making decisions for you - and so does a quiet man named Caleb Thorne. What began as a bargain between two struggling families became something no one planned for. Not a grand romance. Not fireworks. Something slower. Something that lasted. The Orchard Remembers is a multigenerational story of love, loss, and the stubborn persistence of family - told across decades, through the eyes of the women and men who tended the land and each other. Some loves don't burn bright. They endure. And the orchard remembers every single one.

Descendants of Triumvir Mark Antony through his little-known first wife, young cousins, Victoria and Marcus, have always known they were heirs to a mixed-blessing heritage. Roman men were expected to brutally dominate their families and the world around them. Roman women were required to obey husbands and fathers, bear children and keep house, never drawing attention to themselves. Antonys found it impossible to fit the mold, instead using the opposite sex to further their own power. Victoria and Marcus were no different. They could command respect on their own merits with no need of deceit and intrigue. Intelligent and driven, with a flair for languages and a love of horses, the cousins set out for a life on their terms. With the support of their fathers, uncles and comrades, Victoria becomes a respected healer and later is named a medica to her father's legion, the Thunderbolt Twelfth, based in Antioch. Through insurrections, battle and garrison duty, she binds their wounds, births the camp's children, and becomes their Domina Victrix, Lady Conqueror. Marcus pursues his dream of becoming a skilled cavalry commander, scout, and tracker, the living embodiment of the Legion's eagle standard. But enemies are never far away. Men such as Herod of Judea and Pontius Pilate, who exploit the cousins' talents as it suits them, placing Victoria and Marcus as witnesses and key players in an execution that will leave its mark on them and the men of their family's Legion. Then, they face an even bigger threat from a crazed Emperor with scores to settle against them, their family, and their great-grandfather's legacy.

Two empires. Two dynasties. Two names that ruled the business world like untouchable monarchs-The Malhotras and The Oberois. For decades, they weren't just allies, they were family in every sense but blood. Wealth, power, influence-they shared it all. And when the time came, they sealed their bond with something stronger than a handshake. A marriage. Reyansh Malhotra, the eldest son, the ruthless CEO feared by rivals and revered by millions. A man carved of stone, whose heart was as cold as his empire. He believed in power, in loyalty, in blood ties-but not in love. Love was weakness, and weakness was something he had never allowed in his world. And then there was Ruhi Oberoi, the Oberoi's eldest daughter. An author with ink-stained dreams, with a heart too tender for a world so cruel. Sweet and kind, gentle yet resilient, she loved deeply, with the kind of devotion that terrified men like him. She grew up believing in love stories, never realizing she was walking into one far more dangerous than she ever wrote. She adored him from the beginning. Her heart recognized him long before his did. But Reyansh-he resisted, fought, denied. To him, she was light he didn't want, warmth he couldn't accept. He caged his emotions, even as her presence burned through his darkness. And when he finally surrendered-when he finally realized the truth that had been waiting all along-it was too late. Or maybe, just late enough for fate to test them. Two opposites bound by a promise they didn't choose. She, the sunshine who softened even his sharpest edges. He, the storm who would burn the world if anyone dared touch her. Together, they discovered that love doesn't come before vows-it blooms after them, fiercer, wilder, unstoppable. This wasn't the love story she wrote about. This was the love story she lived. And against all odds- It would be their forever.

A continued saga , part 3. -- He spoke fluent Bahasa with the coolies, his tone clipped, official. Then he switched to English for the British clerk beside him, instructing him to jot something down. The change was so smooth it unsettled even those accustomed to hearing two tongues at once. The dockworkers answered his questions, but their voices carried the careful neutrality of men who knew too much was dangerous. They kept their eyes down-until Kai appeared. It began quietly. A spine straightening here, a head lifting there. Then it spread. Men who had slouched under questioning now stood taller. Dockhands turned their faces toward Van Der Berg instead of away. Even sailors from neighboring wharves drifted closer, silent, watchful. No one spoke, but the current had shifted. Van Der Berg felt it immediately. The air seemed to press differently against his collar. He looked up, and there was Kai Sung-pale eyes steady, still as stone, watching. The Dutchman had never met him, yet recognition was instant. Not European, not local, but unmistakably the man who commanded this wharf.
