They were both researchers in some way, so why wouldn't they be best friends? They were literally perfect for each other. But they both knew that they had something... more. More... romantical. About a few months after the show ended, one day, Test Tube invited Fan to her very secret laboratory to experiment on something that could change objects lives. Fan is ecstatic to join the new season of Inanimate Insanity. He's intrigued and a little starstruck, to say the least. Just as things begin to settle and friendships (sometimes more) begin to form, a troublesome event occurs. A contestant is killed in unknown circumstances. As the Bright Lights get smaller and smaller, will they be able to find out how these gruesome events occurred? Or, more importantly...who's next? (This WILL include in-depth depictions of murder, and some shipping, so read at your own risk! Also it's human au because I'm trash for that. Also also. BIG TWS!!!! - DETAILED VIOLENCE (?) - SWEARING - SH - BLOOD (hehhe.. this is the au im remaking, woo!) after being sent back to hotel oj, what would fan do? test tube continued to so science, paintbrush well. painted. and lightbulb was there to cheer others up! fan had already taken up blogging, and was unsuprisingly, sucsessful at it. when views went low, fan wanted to try out new things for his viewers to rile in more views to his vlog, he decides to log down his 'new' decisions in content through the acts of violence. even though hes hesitant about it, he carries on for the 'view factor'. also i really apologize if sometimes the chapters seem out of character.. mostly in the more violent scenes, characters might break character or their usual personalities, mostly because i haven't done proper observations on some characters of inanimate insanity, so if some characters like balloon, soap, ying yang, etc seem out of character throughout the fic, i apologize in advance lol.. although this fic mainly focuses on fanbrush, there will be other ships to! like fan x test tube, nickel x baseball, nickel x balloon, bow x marsh x apple, and some other mini ship interactions!! (some small lightbrush interactions you would count as lightbulb x paintbrush) also there is some self projection in this AU, alongside some mini references to other things like games or shows, or small inside jokes with some of my friends online!,

Two smart best friends start high school, and they didn't know anyone there besides each other, the more they hanged out, the more Fan Started falling for her, but Test Tube never felt interested in him, but.. Some actions made Test Tube start falling for Fan as well.. And it takes a turn as these two besties become unexpected lovers..

Nickel and Balloon have always been enemies at least, for as long as Nickel can remember. There.. WAS, a time where Nickel and Balloon were close though, in season one they were inseparable, always together. However, Balloon claimed Nickel to be too: "needy, clingy, and sensitive. Not to mention he relies on people for everything." They stopped talking after Nickel found out Balloon just used him to get farther in the challenge. - - But.. Nickel can't shake the feeling that he still loves Balloon dearly.
