****Copyrighted**** 'Tell me you don't feel it.' He whispered against my lips, and the trembling that had ceased at the feel of his lips against mine began again with renewed vigor. 'Tell me it's not what you want, and I'll go. You'll never have to see me again.' Swallowing, I looked up at the eyes that had entranced me from the start. I took in his every feature, slowly and deliberately. I thrilled at the feeling of his arms enfolding me, and I inhaled his familiar scent with a trembling breath. And then, then I did the most foolish thing imaginable: I flung my arms about his neck and kissed him with all that I had, almost losing myself in the safety and security I felt. But more than that, I ran. I took his moment of shock, the slight loosing of his arms about me, and tore myself away from him, shoving out the door and into the rain. I suppose I'll never know why he didn't follow me. It was the thing I feared most. I knew that if he came for me a second time, I wouldn't be able to say 'no'. I wouldn't be able to run. But I had to. I had to go. I couldn't let him be hurt because of me. He would live on now, and I would marry another. I had leased my last bit of passion in that one moment in his arms, and as I made my way through the dark streets, I felt myself become dull and lost like the creatures bound in the menagerie. **Much of this was written when I was younger and then I came back later and finished it. There will likely be mistakes. Lots of them.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta. These include the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors, who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.

The year is 1896, and Michael MacBranain is in desperate need of a job. Fortunately for him (or perhaps not-so-fortunately), the Grim Reaper is also in desperate need of an assistant! The trouble is, Michael is terribly superstitious and loathes himself for his own cowardice. But with a dark supernatural force on the loose in New York City, there may be more at stake for Michael and his employer than just job security! ~~~ A multi-part short story, serving as a prototype for the future web-serial "Mortality", the episodic adventures of the Grim Reaper and his assistant. While this story is not as well-researched or polished as I hope for the actual series to be, it does give something of an idea of what I'm going for character and story-wise. [SCANDAL fanfiction] Four girls so different that no one would guess their paths were destined to cross. Four girls that no one would guess could make a difference. Hellboy and the team at the BPRD rescue a unique girl from a laboratory that was conducting experiments on her to discover how to create meta humans of their own. After an explosion, the BPRD team brings her back to their base. She is suffering from PTSD and refuses to communicate with anyone, until Hellboy volunteers... *Authors note: I love the Hellboy comics and movies, but I was dissatisfied with the character of Liz Sherman. I wish she wouldn't have been so moody and owned up to her abilities. I'm writing this story as if Liz never existed. Roxy is going to be a strong character and is going to discover something huge about herself and what her role is in the apocalypse that Hellboy is destined to bring about. I've had this story floating around in my head for quite some time and I finally decided to put them into words. I'm hoping there are others who will enjoy this story.

This is going to be an anthology of short stories, starting with the title story, "A House with Legs and Tentacles," which is about... Well, read the story to find out. Feel free to post your interpretations in the comments, but don't post something like "I don't like it, because it is too confusing." Yeah, I know it is confusing, but that is the point of most of the stories on here. It is ok to comment that you don't like the stories, just give more reason beyond "it is confusing." This will be marked as a completed work, despite the fact that I will continue posting parts, because each part is a completed story.

Though she does have her suspicions about the cat... Eventually, sacrificing her own (and very human) desires to follow her path, Minta's destiny becomes clear; this is a story of self-belief and resolution, first crushes & love (and the journey towards grasping the difference). They promised themselves and to each other, that they would focus more on training, and forget about the blind girl who were once, temporary part of their family. Adalia's body was found by a man named Rameses, whom owned a guild that trained hosts to become assasins. He, then, decided to raise her. He was a Host, just like her. A host, is a human, whom possesses a creature inside of them, giving them inhumane abilities and powers, depending on the creature. He sensed a huge power, like his, but much more powerful, coming out of her body's aura. He knew, that Adalia was the Phoenix's host. He revived Adalia's body, sealing the phoenix inside her, gave her an eyesight and eventually, became Adalia's trainer. He taught her how to tame the creature inside of her, and he taught her everything he can teach. Despite all of her new experiences, Adalia never forgot Ranma and Genma. It was until, she was tasked by Rameses to hunt down hosts at Furinkan high. On her way, she meets Ryoga Hibiki who seem to be lost in the forest. She travels with him, as they were both headed at the same direction. She was expecting to have a routinary, and normal mission-but she clearly didn't expect what'll happen next.
