I- I just-" Pomni rested her hand on his shoulder, easing him of his greater tension as his legs sat agape. The jester sighed, "I know you've lost some pretty important people here," the jester looked as Jax crossed his arms. "Look, I get that you're trying to forget about this, but that's probably the worst that you can do." Jax scowled at Pomni, "What do you know?" He paused, getting up and walking forwards slightly, "You know nothing about me. You know nothing about this place you just got here." "I know that, but-" Jax looked at the jester, his pupils small only to frighten Pomni. LJ has learned to never be hopeful. Hope is the most destructive emotion of all of them. LJ knew the only way to achieve what you want is to work for it...that didn't even guarantee success. Success didn't guarantee happiness. Everyday she worked hard to find her slice of happiness, she definitely didn't expect to find it in Division 1 Wide Receiver who's everything she's not. Callum lives his life one football season at a time. After all, he is the number one wide receiver at a top university. He loves his life - all the girls and recognition. This is why he works so hard. His freshman year in college. He led his team to a title. Everyone is expecting him to lead the team there again this year. Callum's whole life has been about football...until he meets LJ.

I wrote this book because I've spent years watching intelligent, capable professionals struggle with the same communication challenges over and over again. Not because they're not smart enough. Not because they don't care enough. But because nobody ever taught them the fundamental principles of how communication actually works in groups. They were thrown into teams and told to collaborate. Told to "communicate better." Told to "work together." But nobody explained what that actually means. Nobody gave them a framework for understanding why groups succeed or fail. Nobody taught them that communication isn't just about sending clear messages-it's about constructing social realities together. So they default to trial and error. They rely on instinct. They copy what they've seen other people do, even when those people were doing it wrong. And the cycle continues.

DISCLAIMER: These review/critique things are based on first impressions. I will NOT be reading the entirety of your book. My purpose is to urge my clients to learn something new about their story. (Though opinions may vary across participants.) Maybe your review from me will be the catalyst that makes you quit writing for a period of time. Maybe my review is the confidence boost you need in order to take that next step. Maybe my review will help you see your errors and better yourself. Maybe it will do nothing to help you at all and you'll just think of me as a turd after. My goal is not to tell you how to think; I am just a milk dud trying to do something semi-productive as I procrastinate away. Also, in no way am I implying that I am a superior writer to any of my clients, I'm just bored & have attained a decent critical eye on picking out "the bad", I think. We all have written garbage before (you might be writing one right now and have yet to realize it! Who knows-- let me help you find out!), this is just a process that has been done a googolplex amount of times throughout the centuries and the multiverse. This is not unique to only you. It is just a cycle, and you are part of it, which is why I am here to shove you along in one tiny portion of it. If you think that I'm a "rude bitch", all of this seems too intimidating, or maybe even melodramatic--I get it. To a certain extent, I even agree with you! You know yourself better than I do. Remember: no one is forcing you to request and I'll have less reviews to get to. 🤷🏾♂️ {P.S. Super depressed and poor so I'm prone to take breaks. Oops.
