Back when i was in eight grade, a rumor about me being gay circulated, i could remember that day as if it was yesterday.
Where every kid drew their desk away from me like i was some kind of disease.
Where i was stuck in the middle roll isolated from everyone else.
Where the teachers would steal glances at me while teaching.
And where i'm always left to hang my head low like some criminal.
All just because of my personality. All just because i'm not to man enough to be straight, because i prefers books than sports, because of having a squeaky voice, and because of the way i sway my body. Everyone looked at me like i was an... abomination.
But above every other thing, i feared what grandma thinks, afraid of how she see me... an abomination.
No. To my surprise, she ignored everything other thing, looking me straight into my eyes. "No matter what you're, or who you're, i would always love you. And if one day the world's turn it's back at you, i promise, i would always be here for you."
That was what she said that day, and when i stared into her gaze, all i could see was genuine sincerity in them.
But the next day, i was the one clutching the frame of the person that promised to always be with me.
