Being Indian American feels like living in a pressure cooker wrapped in a smile. You're told to be perfect, productive, palatable - never loud, never intimidating. But travel to India, and you'll meet folks who are bold, stylish, confident, and unapologetically gangsta. DEAR DIASPORA, YOU'RE NOT THE MAIN CHARACTER is a sharp, personal callout - not to India, but to the suffocating performance of "representation," perfectionism and intraracial competition that dominates Desi life in the West. This isn't a sob story - it's a truth bomb. A cultural essay that demands real freedom, not filtered branding. If you're ready to sip some realness, break free from the cage of expectations, and find your max pro aura - this is for you. 🍋 Bold. Tart. Sweet. Unfiltered. 🍋 Just like a glass of limeade on a hot day.

A forbidden love. A world determined to keep them apart. In the summer of 1879, amidst the rolling hills and whispering willows of Whitshire, Elara Whitcombe-a daughter of aristocracy bound by duty-meets Adrian Thorne, a bookbinder's son with ink-stained hands and a poet's soul. Their stolen moments in secret gardens and moonlit dances ignite a love as fierce as it is impossible. But society has no mercy for rebels. As whispers turn to warnings and threats tighten like a noose, Elara and Adrian must choose: bow to the rules or risk everything to escape. Yet the world does not yield easily to dreamers, and time is running out. A hauntingly romantic tale of passion, defiance, and the choices that define us.

"Women should be obedient to their husbands. Be good wives and serve their husbands. They should tend to their husband's every need without complaints because that is what they should do." Mr. Axworthy (Male Chauvinist Pig) "We're not living in the Stone Age anymore. We're humans who can also decide for ourselves. Women should not be held to outdated expectations and should have the freedom to make their own choices. Why would we want to be only defined by what society thinks we should be doing as women? If men could do it, women could do it too. They're not above us because they're not our God. "Ms. Allegra (feminist) What if FATE decided to meet them and put them in a situation one can't imagine? Could World War III be happening?

Hey, there! :) I'll begin with a question, actually two. The first one is: How many of you have seen blogs and quotes and posters on feminism and read about campaigns and thought, "Oh! This is totally my thing!" and how many of you have cringed at the word thinking that it makes you inadequate or is utterly useless; and how many have of you have been completely ignorant and/or oblivious? (You'll have to wait for the second question. ;)) Read on to find out! ;) Don't forget to follow, vote, comment and share!! :)

The X games. If you've never heard of them then you're obviously not a FMX rider. And no, it's got nothing to do with the Hunger Games. Although it does involve blood, sweat and tears. And also balls. Apparently. Two friends- Cordeilia 'Corey' Lenfus and Francesca 'Frankie' Loram- both have a dream. They are going to be the first ever females to compete in the X Games- the biggest freestyle motocross event in the world. Follow their journey through the love, heartbreak, loss, and success they experience whilst trying to make a name for themselves. ☆ "...This was our dream and we made it." I smiled. "Who is he? You asked." The reporters and camera crews were tense in anticipation, ready to catch my next words for the nation to hear. "SHE, is Cordeilia 'Corey' Lenfus, who rode on behalf of Francesca 'Frankie' Loram." I said clearly. "SHE, is the chick that doesn't have balls yet still managed to kick your ass."

Long ago, in the ancient kingdom of Surasena, lived two. A young princess by the name of Ananya, and a commoner whom was called Imaran. There lived also an evil sorcerer by the name of Balveer, an advisor to the Sultan. This is their story, a classic retelling of the fairy tale Aladdin. Jinn is the more proper term for genie. It can also be spelled djinn which is the Romanized version. I chose to go with the more traditional version. Cover by my dear friend who did it for me. Their art skills are absolutely impeccable! A message to all my readers: This story has many characters that are ignorant, bigoted and downright cruel to our main character. I wanted to have everyone understand that these actions are extreme examples of homophobia, and that, generally, it is far more subtle. For those that are closeted and are afraid to come out, I am here for you and I am sorry you live in an environment where you can't safely be yourself. Know that my heart is with you. If you need someone to talk to, here is a number to consider: 1-866-488-7386. This is the number for The Trevor Project, a group dedicated to helping young LGBTQ+ people. If there are people in your life who support you and you can trust, seek help. For my straight cisgender folk, please be an ally to your LGBTQ+ friends and family. Their love and gender is as valid as anyone else. In their time of need, be there for them and support them. Please enjoy my story and have a wonderful life.
