A Century of Lament follows the harrowing journey of Parkinson, a British-American soldier whose soul is being slowly eroded by the suffocating anxiety and relentless depression of the trenches. While he faces the visceral reality of fire and steel on the front lines, his heart remains tied to Charlotte Spencer, a woman enduring a quieter, more toxic tragedy back home. As a "Canary Girl," Charlotte spends her days in the sulfuric haze of a munitions factory, her skin yellowing and her health failing as she breathes in the very poison meant for the battlefield. Their love is an aching, fragile anchor in a world defined by pain and historical upheaval, a desperate attempt to find warmth in a cold, industrial machine. It is a story of two people caught in a cycle of tragic sacrifice, where the only thing more dangerous than the war itself is the lingering lament of what they have both been forced to lose.

At first, it felt like fear in which something in her mind was trying to warn her about but loneliness has a way of softening even the strangest things, and soon, his presence becomes less haunting and more like home. Caught between what's real and what isn't, between a world she belongs to and one she doesn't understand, she finds herself drawn to him in ways she can't explain. Because sometimes, the line between the living and the lost isn't as clear as it seems and sometimes, a ghost isn't just a ghost at all. She's the girl who fell in love with a ghost. Trapped in the slums. Surrounded by the dead. No heroes. No escape. Only survival. In Barangay 15, Manila, people live shoulder to shoulder - stacked in shanties, alleyways, and rooftops. There's no room for privacy, much less for panic. So when the dead began to rise, they didn't crawl - they swarmed. Miguel, a former street rat trying to keep his head down, wakes up to blood-curdling screams and the stench of death in the air. With his younger sister and a handful of survivors, he must navigate the labyrinth of shacks and shadows, hunted not only by the infected, but by the desperate and cruel who remain. Every alley could be your last. Every neighbor could be next. This is not your average zombie apocalypse. This is the Philippines - and when space runs out, the dead don't wait their turn. > A long-form horror survival series. > Filipino setting. > Violence. Gore. Trauma. Redemption. > Updates often! > For readers who love slow-burn dread, high-tension claustrophobia, and hard choices.

In a time before smartphones, social media, online TV and simple common sense, 16-year-old Ava decided to profess her admiration to her ultimate high school crush by sending a love letter days before graduation. Drunk on romantic comedy flicks and fairy tale endings, she never thought it would turn out to be the most embarrassing mistake of her teenage life. 7 years later, with a stable career as a Nurse and a curiously friendly resident doctor regularly on the floor, Ava is finally at peace with herself. That is, until an admission comes along which forces her to confront her inner demons and essentially, a choice that could change her life. Will she choose the guy who's too good to be true, or the teenage mistake who is so wrong he might actually be right? --- (Written before "To All The Boys I've Loved Before", inspired by 90's to early 2000's romantic comedy movies, mostly starring Drew Barrymore and Julia Roberts.)

I wrote this when I was 21, inspired by a lesson we had in Theology when I was 19. My teacher said a lot of things back then, but one thing stuck to me: "Love is dying." Love is dying so others can have a better life, so that others can grow. Love is dying in the sense that a part of you dies to give room for caring, loving and growing others. And so I wrote this with that in mind. Amorte came from "Amor", meaning love and "Morte", meaning death. I was so young thought it was cool. Even if it wasn't, I did not want to change it anymore. I wanna freeze part of my innocence and childhood in that way. I hope I was able to express it well..

Six months ago, the car crash took Maya's husband. Now, the ocean is bringing back his letters. "Why are you running, Maya? We haven't even finished the first chapter of our new life." Maya thought she was a widow. She was wrong. She is a witness. And in a town built on skeletons, the truth is more dangerous than the haunting. After the rain-slicked highway and the screeching tires that took her husband's life, Maya Sebastian flees to the secluded provincial town of Sombra. She seeks the kind of silence that only the deep province can provide. She expects to mourn in peace. She doesn't expect the letters. They arrive in her kitchen, tucked into old books, and pinned to her door. Hand-written, heartbreakingly familiar, and signed by Thomas-the man she buried months ago. He's watching her. He's protecting her. Caught between the cryptic warnings of her dead husband and the electric, dangerous pull of Elias Alcaraz-the man who pulled her from the wreckage and whose family owns the town-Maya begins to realize that the "Quiet Season" is a lie. In Sombra, the silence isn't peace. It's a scream waiting to happen. To uncover the truth about the accident, Maya must descend into a web of blood, blackmail, and a hidden cellar that breathes with a heartbeat of its own.
