Ylva is Katara's identical twin sister, Katara and Ylva are also Sokka's little sisters. Ylva is a water bender just like Katara, and she lived peacefully for her first 4 years, but when the fire nation raids the Southern Water Tribe, Ylva is taken. She couldn't be prouder, well except for the blue flames that she inherited from her great aunt azula. Everyone knew azula by the blue flames it was her signature thing. So when Honora was born, worry seemed to strike the royal family when they found out about her rare talent not to mention the eerie resemblance between the two. They couldn't exactly show the Fire Nation that their new princess possessed the power to bend blue flames, so they hid her powers from the world. But now that Honora has moved to republic city with korra powerful forces seem to threaten their new home.
