Recently, Ash had hit a valley in the World Coronation Series, in an endless loop of wining once, losing once, and wining again. It gets to the point where his rank has been staying at the same spot, and is starting to stress him out. As this continues, he develops insomnia, and with tiredness, Ash can't think straight, and develops a losing streak.
