I wrote this originally for novel study in my English class. But I decided to extend the story in to pretty much The Death Cure in Newt's perspective; what his mind and him went through during the entire journey almost up until page.250. Since I think there were not enough scenes of Newt and his thoughts (there could never be enough tbh), here it is. The main character, Libby Allegra, is in no way affiliated with the character Libby Allegra from the Roblox game Prank Your Mom. In fact, I never knew that game even existed until after I wrote ten chapters in my drafts, because my friend pointed out the similar names. Plot: Libby Allegra and her best friend, Z Trace, had been best friends since they were five years old. They're sixteen years old. And yet, three years ago, one museum field trip when they were thirteen changed their lives forever: ... Which basically means they had a crush on each other! Oh no! To Libby Allegra, even until now (16), she was always afraid to confess because she is deathly afraid of what would happen. She is afraid Z would no longer be friends with her! Really bad! To Zachary Trace, he was afraid to confess because what if Libby didn't like him? Simple. He doesn't like rejection! But.... He would be afraid that Libby would no longer be friends with him. Yep. Both sides are afraid of the same thing. The POV will be from Libby's POV aka first-person point of view, you got it.
