Ah, life, so valuable yet so meaningless at the same time. It really isn't fair though, right? Why wait so much just to die? A person can live long, only for it to end one day, much like when you make a sand castle and someone knocks it down. That's what happened with Y/N. She spent time making and building a sand castle, only for someone to knock it down. But of course, in the end though, like I said, we die. But... do we really? This is a collection of stories that the author wrote. According to the author herself, the characters would come to her and tell her their story, which she wrote down. Some stories sounded like an alternation of her life, some sounded like her fears of the future echoing through her head. Some sounded like a love potion spill, some sounded like a crazy rant. But one thing the characters all said was to bring the stories to the public. The author fulfilled their wish.

The Sound of His Voice follows a young deaf male through the perils of his hearing loss. He has never been able to hear his own voice, the sound of rain, but likely worst of all, Tom has never felt the joy of music. This 8th grader finally feels he can "hear" the world when someone new teaches him how to appreciate life in a new perspective.
