The Justice League somehow winds up several years in the future... Or maybe it's an alternate universe? After all, there seems to be an extra kryptonian protector of this time's Metropolis, one that goes by "Superboy". Alternatively: Clark is ecstatic to see another kryptonian, even if it's one from a (maybe?) alternate universe, but... his fellow kryptonian doesn't appear to share the same feeling of immediate kinship. Luckily enough, Superman wasn't known for giving up!

This series is inspired by and rightfully belongs to Blaze-saber Guilmon. The Ninja and Guardians of Harmony are divided, as the first half are in Equestria, trying to fight Garmadon's rule and help save their home with Lloyd leading the resistance, and the second half are in the First Realm trying to find a way back home to save their friends and stop Garmadon while also discovering secrets and strange things along the way.

This is a collection of twelve short stories, each published previously in literary magazines or short story anthologies. The story Droning won the Bookshop Santa Cruz Short Story Contest in 2005. The story Brontosaurus was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2015. The story French Fries was rejected by more than thirty publications before it was selected for a print anthology. These are some of my favorite stories of all the stories I have written. My hope, dear reader, is that you will enjoy them also. Droning - A grieving man receives a revelation from a child in a bee costume. Lucky Me - A man with amnesia doesn't want to know what has been lost. French Fries - A veteran with PTSD has a bad day at J.J.'s Burger Den. A Scout is Friendly - The Mole Patrol takes over the Camporee. Brontosaurus - A single father and his autistic boy learn to communicate with dinosaur names. Put Your Money on Ted - Everyone's betting against Ted. Will his magic locket be enough to save him? Hang in There Mr. Z - The long term sub gets called to the principal's office, but what has he done wrong now?

These are short stories, flash and microfictions, most less than 500 words, the longest about 1500 words. Short, funny, and sometimes fun. Sometimes pointed and sometimes pointless. These stories have been described as eclectic, quirky, and sometimes sad. Take a handful to go.
