The tension couldn't be greater if we were in a pressure cooker. I wished I had walked when I had the chance. But no. Instead, I chose to stay. I shoved my headphones over my ears as if nothing was happening and flicked my laptop over to YouTube. An hour killed watching 'how it should have ended' videos and the latest chaos should be over. Give them another 45 minutes and the kitchen should resemble its original state again. As well as it could anyway. Then I could make dinner. Mexican food sounded good. You may be wondering how I got here. I know I am. Well, that's a really long story. And like almost all stories it starts with a guy meeting a girl. Pretty typical really. The guy in question is a friend of mine. Well, more of a friend of a friend. And the girl well I didn't know her until a few months ago. Kind of wish I hadn't met her sometimes. Ok, that still doesn't really explain why I'm involved. Maybe I should start at the beginning. That's as good a place as any to start. We were on a boat, I think. Somewhere off the coast of Portugal. Florence Nagle Is from Coventry. Busy, bustling Coventry. So when Flo has to spend the Summer with her aunt, she's in for a big shock. But with so little breathing space its more than likely the teens are going to fall out. And nothing helps more that Florence Nagle's utter social awkwardness.

My story utilizes Flo, Big Jim, and The Campbell's Family (who were unnamed in the commercial, so I named them using the names of some of the employees as well as a couple of Flo's family members) from Progressive, and Mayhem from the Allstate commercials. The General from the General auto insurance makes a brief cameo. There isn't really a universe that contains these characters, or any real plot in these commercials other than the obvious advertisement. Flo and Big Jim are the heroes, the Campbell's family is the victim, and Mayhem causes the problem. I tried to make this story seem as comical and unrealistic as possible, all the while trying to make it seem like a parody of what I felt a Progressive Infomercial movie might be like. I hope you enjoy reading my story.
