Blackfen is an isolated town built on rules: doors are barred at night, bells mark the hours, and nothing is invited across a threshold lightly. When people begin to waste away-bloodless, hollowed, yet unbitten-a hunter is sent for. He knows the old lore. He knows how to kill what should not live. But Blackfen remembers something he has forgotten. Hunger is patient. Rules can be bent. And some towns do not want to be saved. The Hollowing Bells is a folk-gothic vampire horror about isolation, complicity, and what survives when evil is learned rather than destroyed.

Along with the grand tradition of the tree lighting ceremony follows by the tradition of Santa reading The night before Christmas that ends with a Christmas movie. The town folk Christmas Santa ends up hiring Alexis to carry on this tradition of her mother. But what Alexis does not know is that Santa is her old high school boyfriend from ninth grade Hunter Wade Parsons.

A witch in the woods gets discovered often her long isolation and has to escape. What wonders or threats will she meet?
