This year my parents are sending me to soccer camp in Cali. I don't want to leave, I have nice friends that I will miss (can't complain to much, my BFF is coming as well). Me and her meet on the soccer field when we were 5. The sad part is, I just got the guy I like (who also likes me) to ask me out. Kayla thought she'd be going to a normal summer camp, for huge soccer athletes, and have a normal summer. Boy was she wrong. This summer isn't going to be like any other before. Monika Sinclair is a sixteen year old girl helping out at a local stable for a bit of extra money. Nothing could have prepared her for what was coming, or who she would make bonds with. She makes new friends, with people she never even would have expected to be friends with. Ethan Jackson, is a seventeen year old who was put onto a saddle before he could walk. He grew up in a prestigious family with horses but finds it's not for him anymore, he wants something more, something new.

This is a story of a girl who isn't sure about what she is doing but she followed her heart and had the best time of her life.

Studying in a not-so-famous school is being transferred to her stepmom's business private school of where her stepsisters are studying as a dreamer, too, like her. But, it won't be easy as she encounters her struggles in life with herself and with her new and some old friends - and of course, her guitars.

They say High School is one of the best times of your life. When youth is at its peak, stretching across lengths of newfound rebellion, but with the sweet drip of innocence still intact. It's a time of jumping over brick walls and ditching class for McDonald's, or simply running along the rails of a complex mall, laughing off the disapproving stares of onlookers. Sounds good right? I'll tell you. If High School was the best time of your life, then you are definitely doing something wrong. High School sucked.
