Everyone knows Joong Archen.
The rich university student with a dangerous reputation, a cold personality, and a face that never shows emotions. Born into one of the wealthiest families in the city, Joong lives fast - expensive cars, late-night parties, and a life where nobody dares to tell him "no." People admire him, fear him, but never get close enough to understand him.
Then there's Dunk Natachai.
A high school student from a simple family, raised by his mother and grandparents in a small house above their bakery. His life is quiet - early mornings, warm bread, homework at the kitchen table, and two dogs always following him around. Dunk is soft-hearted, patient, and kind in a way this world rarely allows people to stay.
They were never meant to cross paths.
Until one evening.
Dunk was walking home from school, earphones in, tired after a long day, when he stepped onto the road without noticing the black car speeding toward him.
Screech.
The sound of brakes echoed through the street.
For a second, everything stopped.
And maybe Joong would've driven away like nothing happened...
if Dunk hadn't looked at him with those terrified yet strangely gentle eyes.
But some meetings are not accidents.
Because from that night onward, Joong keeps seeing Dunk everywhere - near his university, outside his favorite café, even in places Dunk should never be.
Coincidence?
Or is there something Dunk himself doesn't know?
And why does Joong suddenly feel like protecting the boy who accidentally walked into his life... before someone else reaches him first?
