Frank is admired by practically everyone, girls always all over him, an honor if he considers you a friend, hosting or attending parties every Friday. Gerard is the loner kid who no one actually knows the name of, hardly ever noticed. Basically social suicide to be friends with him. (3rd but more Gerard centered)
