Frank Iero, the punk boy who, unfortunately for him, comes from a Christian and Conservative family, falls in love with none other than the school's freak, Gerard Way. He lived at the other side of New Jersey, where things Frank wants to forget happened, before he moved to Belleville. He comes with a dark past that needs to be uncovered, but he does not want to uncover it. Not yet, at least. Will Gerard be the one to find out about it, and if he doesn't, will it be too much for him to handle? Ray Toro is a normal guy. In his own words, a boring one. He lives alone, visits his friends every so often, plays guitar in his band, as well as alone, and never believed in the supernatural. He thought they belonged safely behind screens or trapped in book pages, where relief from the terror was a button press or page turn away. Unfortunately, though, one wrong step in the woods, and suddenly his life, and all of the beliefs he held, are derailed completely. He always thought of himself as adaptable to change, but it's possible he overestimated his abilities.

Frank and Gerard meet while skipping school outside in the alley close by. One skipping to seem more badass than he actually is. The other to not feel so out of place. Will they be able to see through one another like no other? Frank lives with his wealthy grandfather, after his parents decided they couldn't stay together to deal with a kid. Gerard lives with his single alcoholic mother and little brother who's always out getting up to stuff. Frank is admired by practically everyone, girls always all over him, an honor if he considers you a friend, hosting or attending parties every Friday. Gerard is the loner kid who no one actually knows the name of, hardly ever noticed. Basically social suicide to be friends with him. (3rd but more Gerard centered)

Gerard Way is a young man who like most others, has dreams of a bright future, and his whole life ahead of him. Being treated differently most of his life for being a crossdresser, he hopes he could finally live without being judged. After years of working hard, he lands a job as the new Secretary for the CEO of a very prominent corporation. As time goes on, Gerard sees how nice his new boss is, and sees he's taken a big intrest in his new Secretary....But as temptation slowly builds between them, how long will it take before they crack? (Warning: Contains sexual content and Innuendo hroughout, some violence, and profanity.)

Frank Iero liked to get into trouble. He was asked to do a man a huge favor for a lot of money, and to do that Frank would need help. Well, he decided that there's no better person to help him than Gerard Arthur Way.

Diminishing Decay is the second story of the series, however, the first was a prequel so this can be read as a stand-alone story! This is a collaborative story about the hardships of MCR as they progress together as a band. The story is Frerard-oriented, going through the rise and fall of both Frerard and the band itself. Gerard is used to being treated like he might break, handled carefully, spoken to softly, never really seen. Frank doesn't do careful. He's blunt, impatient, and the only person who treats Gerard like he's just... normal. What starts as irritation turns into something quieter, something harder to name. But learning to be seen properly, and to trust someone enough to let them stay, isn't easy. Some things don't need fixing. Just steady hands.

The best Frerard story...obviously.
