My mother wasn't a mutant she wasn't born with the gift of evolution but she knew Charles Xavier from the past they shared. She was bleeding from her mouth and nose, when I went to help the shadow smacked me into the wall. My mom screamed in pain as I watched her turn into orange dust. The shadow spoke to me "Happiness is a lie. Life is horror. The light is always dying, all across the universe. The last star will flicker out someday. When it does, all that remains... shadow. And I will be its king, You have Xavier to thanks for this... " As it got closer I raised my hand and screamed a burning pain emanated from my hand and a bright light submerged the house... destroying 12 square blocks where were Xavier's X-men no where.

Some were shown off to the world in the Wing's freak show, others kept in Quarantine as the Wings secret weapons, all brainwashed into following the Wings. What was life like for those hardly known by the world? For those told they never belonged anywhere? For those who never had a chance? And what will become of these dragons?
