Inspired by Britney Spears' tragically over-reported life and constant personal troubles a few years ago.. this is about a singer whose life is crumbling... With money stolen, a dead child, and her overwhelming battle with mental illness. How alone can a famous person feel?

Britney Spears has been in a prison-like conservatorship since 2008. This is a story written from her perspective. It will contain moments that have actually happened such as the court hearing and so on. It takes place in the present time (2021) *This is only my take on the subject and some of the events are true and some are fictional.

Since this version of It's A Hard Knock Life features mostly serious incidents that happened in 2020, it shall not be classified as a parody to avoid disrespecting the innocent people who have been affected by them. I advise you all to pay your respects to those who have lost their lives in this dangerous and devastating year and keep showing kindness to those in desperate need of compassion.

The story highlights the ignorance, sexualization, branding and marketing, sexism, queer-bating the media craves as well as the media's objectification, legal battles and conservatorships that aspiring artists had to go through back then, to be able to come out of nothing in hopes of living their dreams.
