Cotard's syndrome is a delusion where a person thinks he or she is dead; figuratively or literally. Kai Chariot was stuck with this syndrome ever since he hit his teen years, it wasn't until he met Dakota Breit, the girl who dealt with depression; that he suddenly started to feel different. The two take on a great deal of struggle and sometimes would they only have the good days.

I should be grateful for my hands, without them, my thoughts would be left in the dark. A collection of words made into sentences to relieve my heart from the burning sensation of unwritten thoughts. Raita_san.

Finding the fleeing Death Eaters was easy, since their order, without a leader, had turned into chaos. Chaos that lead to messy attempts at hiding. Deciding what to do with Death Eaters, however, was definitely not easy. There were the mass murdering ones who went to Azkaban of course, but there were also the ones who, once again, pleaded being under the influence of Imperio, amongst other excuses. And then, there were the children. The children of the Death Eaters who had been forced to endure his reign from a close proximity that caused nightmares. Children who could adapt into the "light" side once more. So when the Ministry finally decides on a program that Hermione agrees to participate in (without really knowing what it was, since she had accidentally zoned out), she is in for a long year. The other part of this inspiration comes from @ScarlettBlackDaisy's book Curing Kyle, which is heartbreakingly beautiful and would recommend everyone to give it a read. A glimpse into the minds of those who suffer from trauma, anxiety and seclusion. It is very important to me that awareness about mental health is spread, thus the reason for this short story. A battle against all the negative aspects of your mind is sometimes the most difficult battle to overcome, and not many people are aware of that. I hope this story sheds some light on what trauma, anxiety that can lead to depression can do to people, and at the end, how to move past the worst.

It seemed that all Savannah Benson would amount to was a mess. An unstable girl who couldn't erase her past, and let her demons continue to haunt her day after day, night after night. There was too much wrong with her to even consider fixing her. With no hope for change and a life full of never-ending issues, someone suddenly comes along to throw her off her self-loathing, cold-shoulder routine. The possibility of letting them in doesn't seem so hard, which is the one thing she fears the most, except she can't help it. It's the easiest thing that's happened to her in a long time, and that's what makes it so terrifying. This is not a fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after - this is a story about love, loss, and every struggle in between.
