Troubled Kids is a poetry project I'm working on in order to reflect society's views and treatment of teenagers and children. This is also meant to show the struggles of growing up in a world where you are not always accepted.

Everyday thoughts of a 20 yr old

In the world of Yore, silence in normal. No one can speak. They wouldn't be able to, even if they tried. But on one day a year, they can. It's all because of an algorithm, made to weaken those who could speak out. So it all comes down to her. Time is running out. Midnight is upon us. And so are they. What if us humans didn't go through pain? What if suicide wasn't always our answer? What if society didn't judge based on looks? What if the world was healthy? Would we care? Questions that can't nor will be answered. "Mountains are our problems, that's why we are climbers."

Jannat, an ambitious, smart, and brave girl, is born unluckily in a patriarchal household, but she doesn't want to live a life planned by her family; she wants a life of her own where she is free and where she can decide for herself what she wants: to be a successful working woman, not an unprivileged housewife. Will Jannat turn her life upside down? Will she get what she wants?

This is where all the art work will go for my Death of freedom story. So if anyone wonders what places and people look like, it will all be here. So please do enjoy!

Phi Eta Stigma: How I learned the Power of Communication. Two girls, one Four Step Plan for change. A story of how a corrupt Honor Society Adviser kept her power. All I ever wanted to do was to make the society better. I just wanted to have a voice in a student group that I spent several hours of my week working with. Was I wrong to think that students should get a voice in their own organization? Was I wrong to think that PES was corrupt? Maybe my tactics were not the best, but I only ever had the best intentions for Phi Eta Sigma. A story of failure, ridiculousness, and perseverance.
