Depression is often downplayed in the society, especially among Muslims. So when Sakeenah, a seemingly perfect young Musleemah attempts suicide, the people around her realise it's not always as it seems. She survives but however, loses the use of her legs and must embark on a healing journey to heal physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally. Who knows maybe she'd finally find happiness on that journey?

Disclaimer: I wrote this novel before the movie Lucy came out it is in no way related but the premise of the brain and the powers eerily similar It is the year 2173. Human beings have evolved to use more than 10% of their brain, and as an effect, possess supernatural powers. Luna and Lara Valkyrie grew up in a foster home in the town of Westhaven, California. Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. Westhaven is a lovely town, the perfect place to live the american dream in. There is only one problem. Not only there, but in almost every place in the world, human beings are branded with a number, that being the amount of supernatural abilities they possess. By the time each child reaches the age of 18, that number becomes permanent, and everyone with a ranking above 5 is taken away. From that moment on, they belong to the government, and must train in government facilities that are a lot like prisons or army bases. Their eyes are changed by machines, and they are identified for the bright aura-like color that surrounds their pupils and contrasts against their natural eye color, "the sunflower effect". The day of the chosen has come, and Luna Valkyrie is a seven. When she is taken by government guards, she believes her life is over. That is, until she meets Alexandra Pertierra, a brazen 23 year old with a rank of eleven who turns her world upside down with a cocky smirk. *An aftermath to Wicked Intentions*

This is a true story about my sister who struggles from Reactive Attachment Disorder. This is not an exposing book. This is just my view of how I see it and the story of how it all began and where she is now. WARNING: While this book is PG, it may be hard for some readers.

Sean Gillan's passion lies in his education, his work values as a part-time cashier at the family-owned general store, and helping out his grandparents at a family farm while being a faithful member of his church. He has little time for any frivolous and is certain that all he needs is in his small town of Central Georgia, despite his citified parents and siblings citing that he needs to get a life and get some air in his lungs. Sean has little time for anything other than what he needs, so much so that he lands in the hospital after passing out during his post-graduation party at church. Fearing that he was in danger of burning out and knowing that he wasn't going to survive long if he overworked himself, the whole family decides to ship him off to his gay uncle's home in Newport, Rhode Island so he could attend college there. Sean wants none of it, citing that he's fine with his small-town lifestyle. But once he learns that his grandfather sold the farm, home, and business and that he was to attend college up north instead of trade school in Adams Falls; Sean's fate is sealed. But then he's forced to join his adoptive cousins and uncles for some ice cream and meets two domineering young men fresh out of high school. And they...well, let's just say that they want to show Sean Gillain the TRUE meaning of having passion in his strict life. And maybe Sean doesn't think that moving to Newport would be so bad after all. He'll never know unless he gives it a try.

Despite losing a player, Leila gains another one by her long lost aunt, and is ready to once again claim the championship title as her team's. Things get tense when the Tenebrosi show up out of the blue and join the games as well by a decree her mother made a long time ago. Despite the Tenebrosi showing up, Leila learns they are not her biggest problem: Crystal's dragonling has been captured by her most hated enemy, and now she must go after Shimmer. Meanwhile, Ella is only a couple of months along in her pregnancy, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to hide from Abraxas and her twin. She knows to escape she must find refuge within Gondra, but that is easier said than done when your home has branded you an enemy of the Royal Family.
