En el tiempo en el que vive Shawn, todo es un acoso constante para los Fahrlek, una estirpe dominada por los "naturales", unos seres racistas y sin mucha inteligencia. Su líder, Horlak, un vástago que con cualquier chantaje o extorsión puede conseguir lo que se proponga. Shawn y tres compañeros viajarán al pasado, pasando por varias etapas para devolver al tiempo su flujo normal y que los hechos cambiados por Horlak, vuelvan a ser normales.
