hello! for my senior year of high school, my english teacher had us read Dante's Inferno, and then create our own Inferno based off real life or another type of media. so, i chose my favorite anime, Fullmetal Alchemist. in this story/essay, Ed Elric (the Dante of this story) travels with his father, Hohenheim (Virgil) through the Gates of Truth and witnesses the punishments that awaited those he met throughout his lifetime.

I think for this I'm going to have oneshots first, then start a story when I run out of ideas for oneshots. The story part is after the end of the series; there are still ripples of energy traveling throughout the world. After all, you can't get rid of something as powerful as a god without causing some commotion. These ripples cause strange events to occur: people disappearing for days on end and coming back confused, sudden flares of energy that set the military on edge, and big areas of transmutation created by an anonymous source. What happens when the Elric brothers and the Fuhrer, along with his right-hand woman get caught up in one of these mysterious waves of force? Read to find out.

It has been eight years since we left our heroes. Ed is married to Winry and is on a break from his alchemiy research in the East and Al is back from the west. Roy and Riza, now married, live in central as as Roy rules the nation of Amestris as their Fürher. Ling is now Emperor of Xing with Lan Fan as his main guard. How will their sound lives change as loved ones who were supposedly dead start to turn up alive. Then to add to the confusion the seven homunculi are somehow back with a claim of being on their side.
