Author's Note: I was told once that, 'If you want to teach a specific lesson, why tell the story in the first place', so Both versions of this story were written without a moral or lesson in mind. It was simply, a story. But upon rereading, I find that my takeaway is "Focus on the value of what you have, as opposed to the percieved value of what you don't". Don't envy the normalcy of another's love, especially if it will only hurt your own. As I mentioned earlier, this story has two endings, a "True"/Happy ending. And a secondary/bad ending. The first ending, is the one I like the best, but after writing it I felt that this story couldn't survive without the second ending to remind us of the consequences of our envy. Dance of Thorns is about three main characters who go through all sorts of trouble and issues, there are sensitive topics such a depression, drugusage, abuse, character death, mild gore, fighting etc. this story might not be for the faint of heart! Each character is based of a flower: Chris: Narcissus Blake: Wolf's bane/ aconite Percy: Asphodelus -- -Please keep in mind that I have no real experience with writing so this won't be amazing or anything like that, also, english also isn't my first language so there might be some grammar mistakes and other errors. Every interaction of the characters can be either seen as platonic, romantic or anything else. --

If you haven't read my first book, "A New Outlook On Life", then I recommend you read that first, as this book is more of a story of the characters from that books past, and I will not be redescribing their traits here. Dive into the story of Jacob, a 16 year old gay male wolfs life before he found happiness. This really will help with the backstory to the first book, if it was a bit confusing. Enjoy!
