Kim Taehyung is twenty-five, a university professor, painfully single, and the victim of a family that has decided his love life is everyone's business.
After surviving three years of endless blind-date suggestions, relationship interrogations, and relatives questioning why someone as beautiful as him is still single, Taehyung finally snaps during a family dinner and blurts out the first lie that comes to mind.
"I have a boyfriend."
The problem?
The boyfriend doesn't exist.
The bigger problem?
The name that comes out of his mouth is Jeon Jungkook, his best friend since high school.
Now trapped in a fake relationship, Taehyung and Jungkook must survive suspicious parents, family vacations, forced couple photos, and a growing problem neither of them expected.
Because pretending to be in love is becoming a lot harder when they can't stop noticing each other.
And maybe, just maybe, everyone who thought they were dating all these years wasn't completely wrong.
