A collection of stories right from my heart. I may not have experienced all of them, but I have lived them in my mind for a long time before writing them down.

Yesterday, 15th March, marked the 3rd year of the Syrian revolution. We've all read the news, seen the statistics, but it's robbed us of the human factor. Those are innocent people, children and families that are torn apart, destroyed and wrecked. We need to open up our eyes to reality. Honestly, if you even caught a glimpse of what's really going on, you wouldn't sit tight. Not meant to be offensive; this is me doing my part in raising awareness. And do your part; prayers and whatever you can give. Its not only Syria, its Gaza and West Bank and Waziristan and so many more places. Spread the word. Stand up. A letter written by a dead girl.

Two weeks. Four students. Number one: Aarifah, with her endless struggles of maintaining a balance between her worldly and religious beliefs. Number two: Walid, with his un-ignorable past actions, and the consequences of these actions that haunt him to this day. Number three: Lexie, a girl who no matter how hard she tries could not get her heart to start beating for her rather than the boy who crushed it under his foot without giving it a second thought. Number four: Neno, the guy who has everything he wants, but not everything he needs. In these two weeks, their lives will be intertwined, their facades will be blown away, and their faith in themselves, that was buried in the confines of their hearts will resurface in the form of shores in their eyes. But one thing awaited all of them in the end, and that was; redemption.

Zach and Yasmine are two teenagers just trying to get through life by keeping their head held high and never letting their hopes drop. Although this can be hard when you're living in an illegally occupied country such as Palestine, they're there for each other. ALL the time. Yasmine is sarcastic, witty and a little controlling. Zach is quiet, annoying and indecisive. All the perfect ingredients to get on each others nerves! However they're basically twins...born apart but meant for each other from the beginning. They're Palestwinians. Join them on this journey as they challenge and learn from each other, battle the hardships of life and dream of their future....possibly a future together? Missing things that are needed, and yet you can't say anything, they're choking you though not in a direct way, your sitting on the ground, with your ripped pants and shirt, but it's not because it's the new fashion no its something entirely different, it's because of them, they stopped all the suppliers from helping you out, they took control over water and food, over electricity and other important things. Inured by desert life in sixth-century Hijaz, Rami sees the birth of his newborn daughter as a burden to be buried under the sands. Before he can act, his wife Malaak flees into a barren land with their child, seeking refuge. While venturing into the unknown, her path unexpectedly intersects with Kareem's path, a young merchant who soon vows to protect the mother and her newborn when no one else will. With time, an ardent bond grows between them, and when Kareem summons the courage to declare his affection for her, he learns that he is too late. But a chance meeting, some red velvet cupcakes and a prayer binds them together forever.
