Pratyush Sharma has spent his entire life hiding the truth about who he is, carrying a secret that could shatter everything he has ever known. Pihu Nagarkoti, on the other hand, lives life with an open heart, believing that kindness can be found in the most unexpected places. When fate keeps bringing them together, what begins as a series of chance encounters slowly blossoms into a love neither of them sees coming. But some truths are harder to confess than they are to carry. Astitva: Beneath Our Sky is a bittersweet tale of identity, acceptance, and a love that dares to exist in a world that often fears what it doesn't understand.

In Renaissance Venice, Lucia Bellandi must live as the young painter Luca to pursue the art she loves in a world that refuses women such a calling. When she is commissioned to paint for the house of Contarini, an unexpected bond grows between her and the son of the Savio Grande, until a forgotten sketch and a carnival mask reveal they have met before. Will their love be powerful enough to overcome social norms? Excerpt from Chapter 6: At length, abandoning the hope that memory alone would bridge the distance between them, he turned without another word and crossed to the writing desk, resolved to let the forgotten sketch speak where words had failed. But he stopped before his hand opened the drawer, a better idea already taking shape in his mind. "Then let us make a pact," he said softly. "I shall guard your secret as faithfully as I would my own honour." His eyes did not leave hers. "Only grant me this in return: remain here a little longer, and paint me-not merely until the portrait is finished, but until you remember the man who once stood before you a long time ago." Excerpt from Chapter 8: "But have I not already painted every likeness you could desire?" He stepped nearer, and Lucia feared he must surely hear the frantic beating of her heart, as though it might burst from her chest. "You are mistaken. You painted a stranger." His gaze remained upon hers. "Then perhaps you painted a friend, or merely an acquaintance. But today..." He let the words linger between them before continuing, his voice quieter now. "I ask but one last favour of you. Paint not the son of Lord Contarini, nor the gentleman you once knew only from behind a Carnival mask. Paint only the man who stands before you now-the man you can finally see."

The girl smiled at her, not knowing who she was. "You look like a princess. You have nice hair and blue eyes that look like a dragon gave them to you." Princess Zahra gave a shaky laugh, wondering if the girl knew she had the same, glowing eyes as herself. "Well, I think you look like a princess too." She shook her head. "I don't want to be a princess. I want to be a warrior." --- Like any world, Rova is plagued with issues such as social disbalances, gender inequality and pirates. It is also included in a 20 year war. Zahra, the princess of Rova, is unaware of these problems because of her sheltered lifestyle within the palace walls. Her only worries are the temper of her little sister, Jaylyn, and the fear of disappointing her parents, the King and Queen. However, her views are tampered with as she is kidnapped and pulled into the lifestyle of pirates where she is exposed to the class discriminations, the poverty, magic and the raw power that people, especially women, can have when driven and determined. These new experiences also slap her into the reality that decisions have an impact and that she needs to learn to make them wisely. *** Also, please feel free to give constructive feedback and point out spelling or grammar mistakes. Thank you much and enjoy :) ***

A Fictional Memoir of the tradition of a woman playing Peter Pan, which helped me think through my Gender. This NeuroQueer Retellung is appropriate for readers 10 and up, because kids have the RIGHT to read Queer Literature! Since an "Actress" is assumed to be a woman, and Peter Pan is a boy, there is Misgendering in this fanfiction. It was in the tags, but I want to put a clear Trigger Waning. Also, Trigger Warning for the racial slur that calls Indigenous People "Red." I have thoughts... Credit for the Fairy Genders goes to J.M. Barrie My portrayal of Tiger Lily is Anti-Colonial Through a Disability Justice lens. To Sondra Lee, who played Tiger Lily, and saved my life To Lerisssa Fasthorse, who justly restored my lost dignity To Adolph Green, who taught me what makes a monter and what makes a man, is complicated To Jerome Robbins, who challenged my intellect and morality And of course to Mary Martin, who taught me about the "Unusal things you can do"

"Beneath the Red Scarf" narrates a heartbreaking yet profound coming of age journey set during a chronicled cataclysm. It recounts 5-year-old Salome's journey who is left with her entire world crashing down upon hearing the dreadful news of her mother's passing. She sets out on a treacherous journey across Georgia, a country tainted by the Ottoman and Soviet empires, armed only with a mysterious letter and her father's glaring absence. Salome faces significant internal and external struggles as she navigates a nation riven by conflict. Far from a simple revelation journey, her mother's death serves as an epicenter for Salome to navigate through the vicious cycle of societal norms, expectation, gender prejudice, and delusional politics. Through hitherto defeated cities, drowning in scars of history, Salome's perseverance is pushed beyond limits no child should have to confront. "Beneath the Red Scarf" is infused with themes of history, identity and the unmatched will of a girl searching for her identity in a silencing society.

Five hearts. One barkada. A lifetime of tangled feelings. Yannie, Karl, Carlo, Sarah, and Marah - magbabarkadang sabay lumaki, sabay nangarap, sabay nasaktan. Pero habang tumatanda, unti-unting nagiging kumplikado ang mga tawa, ang mga tingin, at ang mga lihim na matagal nang tinatago. Yannie, the gay friend who always smiles, but hides the pain of loving someone he can't have. Karl, the charming one with a girlfriend - and a secret crush on his best friend, Yannie. Sarah, the girl who fell for her best friend's boyfriend. Carlo, the weird boy who secretly loves Sarah, the girl who doesn't see him that way. Marah, the loyal friend who only wants Carlo's heart - even if it's never hers. Bumalik sila sa San Felipe para sa fiesta, pero hindi lang alaala ang sasalubong sa kanila - pati mga pusong hindi pa rin marunong magpaubaya. Sa gitna ng tawanan, tampuhan, at tagpong puno ng nostalgia, they'll realize that sometimes... the hardest love stories are the ones shared with the people you call friends.

Boys of Wishworld had never had it easy. They've always been emotionally suppressed, told to be a man, and we never seem to talk about how rape isn't exclusive to girls. On Starland, this is causing more trouble than one can anticipate.

This is a book of poems by myself, most of them are about quite sensitive topics so if that makes you uncomfortable, don't read this. (Warning: Could Contain Triggers for certain individuals) A few examples of these topics are: Race Sexuality Sexism Depression Anxiety Self-harm Etc. If you feel my writing could improve, feel free to comment on it, after all, I wrote this book so I would receive constructive criticism. Just please don't hate on me, that's just not cool. (Btw, there is a difference between constructive criticism and HATE)
