Pratyush Sharma has spent his entire life hiding the truth about who he is, carrying a secret that could shatter everything he has ever known. Pihu Nagarkoti, on the other hand, lives life with an open heart, believing that kindness can be found in the most unexpected places. When fate keeps bringing them together, what begins as a series of chance encounters slowly blossoms into a love neither of them sees coming. But some truths are harder to confess than they are to carry. Astitva: In Another Life is a bittersweet tale of identity, acceptance, and a love that dares to exist in a world that often fears what it doesn't understand.

This poem bring to light how many women are trapped into a vicious circle of abuses and how this is empowered by patriarchate cultures. Women are unable to report abuses and to shows struggles because often the perpetrator is loved out of his home by family and friends. These women are often labelled as strong and brave in their old ages because the word victim is misinterpreted. Usually children living in this situations become attached and protective toward to their mother in adulthood and refusing to detach doesn't allow them to understand the abuses witnessed with a high possibility that this lead them to fall into the domestic violence cycle. The poem conclude, by stressing out the importance of education to break free from a patriarchic culture and enable people to have the right tools to understand and support victims, perpetrators and children.

This was a cultural gender equality narrative I had to write for my English class. It's about a young girls' determination to play cricket and the encouragement she received. It isnt long but it definitely tells a story of gender equality. I had to do a lot of research on cricket so please enjoy, :')

Every time I tried to talk about what women still face, a man interrupted me - with his story, with his pain, with his but what about... This isn't just a book. It's a voice reclaimed. A collection of thoughts I was too tired to finish out loud. Of gender wars started over everyday conversations. Of moments where I wanted to scream the truth, but instead, smiled and stayed silent. Let Her is about the space women are still fighting for - to speak, to exist, to not be talked over. If you've ever said "it's fine" when it wasn't, If you've ever been silenced with a smile, This book is yours. Let her speak. Let her finish. Let her finally be heard.
