Honi is just trying to help her family survive in a world where the land, sky, and seas all grow books--and companies are in fierce competition to harvest the most. She enjoys her time gathering books for the LAND Company on the back of her giraffe . . . until things start to go wrong. The Earth Serpent--the god who makes books grow on trees--is sick, and so is the land. A single golden Book holds how to save the Earth Serpent and his people, or, if it falls into the hands of the rival companies, how to destroy them once and for all. Honi wants her family and people to survive to the next season, so when she finds the Book she knows she'll do everything and anything to keep it safe, even fight the whole of a rival company to do so.

I hate poems. They really suck, but then again, they do it well... So, Kit, you're welcomed to browse here if you have nothing better to do.
