These are 3 poems from my book The A to Z of You and Me. Book Synopsis: "First published in January 2017, The A to Z of You and Me is a collection of 26 love poems. The poems featured in this publication are all dedicated to my boyfriend and tell my experience of our story in an honest way. Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and transgender teens suffer a lot of torment in their school life. This is a poem, dedicated to all those who fought through to a better life in the grown up world, but more so, to those who were pushed to the limit and took their own lives. http://itgetsbetter.org

'I'm Going Slightly Mad' follows Aaron Magro, a college student trying to adjust as life throws obstacle after obstacle at him. Balancing his studies, a job, and friends begins to wear on him, and as he finds himself resenting every unneeded turn of events, he also finds his resolve weakening. He's running out of steam, and heading for a breakdown, and he isn't sure how much longer he can hold out. With support from his police officer friend, Lucas, who tends to hinder as much as he helps, he keeps pushing through, even as life keeps throwing him curveballs, such as love interests he never would've expected, broken bones, and dangerous rivalries. Only adding to his problems is his older brother, Caleb, who is causing trouble for their parents with a sudden visit, and the reasons behind his sudden return may change Aaron's attitude completely. College is turning out to be very interesting, in a way Aaron doesn't quite appreciate.

A chance encounter on a Saturday morning.

After some rough years Matthew O'Neill is trying to piece together a new life with all good things. A pretty, if maybe super religious girlfriend, a group of close, if somewhat crazy friends, a loving, if a bit unusual family. But his mind is still a mess sometimes. Especially when it comes to Allen Thomas. The new dorky student with the wild red hair and bluest eyes ever who just can't seem to leave him alone. Or is it maybe the other way around? _______________________ There was a split second when we smiled at each other in understanding, a tiny fragment of the reality, that we didn't have anything in common. I quickly looked over to the lockers again, but new kid didn't seem to get it, still smiling in the corner of my eye. "I didn't quite catch you name?" "Matt. Actually it's Matthew," I said for some reason, like I seriously cared. "Right, I'm terrible with names. Especially today, I feel like I've met a thousand people already. Matthew, I'll remember that." Well he wouldn't have to. I kinda liked the dry, soft way he said my name though, and the fact that he actually said it, not just the short version, that too many times sounded like a sheep baahing. I actually kinda hated it when people called me Matt.

Dva příběhy splynou v jeden, dvě dvojice v jednu a dvě knihy o tom budou vyprávět. Nebude to život, o jaký by oba páry stály nebo jaký by si vybraly. Budou stát před nelehkým rozhodnutím kudy dál, a nakonec na to budou samy. Nikdo jim nepomůže ani nepodá pomocnou roku, protože jsou rozhodnutí, která musíme udělat sami za sebe, a ne za druhé.
