One year after the events of Wicked: For Good, Glinda now possesses powers, and there is no one left who despises her. Likewise, the land of Oz celebrates one year of her reign. A grand festival is held, and during the ceremony she makes an announcement, or rather, tells a story, in which she reveals the true history of the Wicked Witch of the West: how she was unjustly hated and cast out.
At first, all the citizens doubt this tale, but in the end, guilt and longing begin to grow within them, along with the wish for her to return, regretting not having the chance to knew her better.
At the same time, Elphaba feels a like someone's calling her; and without knowing of her friend's noble act, she returns to the great city of Oz, where she is received in a surprisingly magnificent way. And although many wondered: Wasn't she dead? They understood, and celebrated her as if a figure of great importance had arrived.
Everything was going wonderfully, but... a reunion would change everything, reviving feelings and memories from the past, and stirring up stories that had promised to remain hidden; while one of our girls begins to turn... wicked.
