Struggling at everyday activities, the clown refused his help. The idea of everyone pitying him for not having a guardian by his side triggered negative emotions which resulted in him dissociating during social encounters with his peers. Karkat, noticing the change in his behavior, is about to intervene. This is my first published story greatly inspired by a roleplay I've had with an acquaintance of mine where we discussed the importance of Gamzee's and Karkat's undeveloped and complex relationship.
