Surprise, surprise! Guess who moved across the street? Everywhere you turn, you see a familiar face. There's Laurance, Dante, & Garroth across the street. That strange guy obsessed with Kawaii-chan (he wasn't exactly important enough to be remembered, you thought sheepishly). Oh, and let's not forget Aaron and Zane. It's nice, really, to be around your people, knowing they were just a few feet away. But it wasn't nice suddenly falling in love.

When you were 5 years old you lived in O'khasis. You had a certain friend there named Garroth. Garroth Ro'meave. He was your best friend for years. But then when you turned nine...you had the unfortunate luck of moving away.. On everyone's fourteenth birthday, you get a piece of jewelry to communicate with your soulmate on. When you turned fourteen you got a ring. It was a few days before you start your freshman year at Phoenix Drop High. Who will be my soulmate? Is what you and everyone around you wonders. There were rules to this though. No one was allowed to share their name with their soulmate. They'd have to figure out whom each other was on their own. Nor is anyone allowed to speak about the conversations between them and their soulmates.

Zane wants Aphmau's power, village, but most of all, to see her suffer. And he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. When Aphmau is taken by Zane, Aphmau's guards/friends Laurance and Garroth must save Lord Aphmau. But when Aphmau is faced with the choice to save herself or someone else, you know what she will pick. However, everyone might not like what happens because of it.

When Aphmau finds a strange old stopwatch in Irene's Ruins, she finds out that it has the ability to turn back time. Unfortunately, she has no idea how to go back. Does she even want to go back? Because where she's ended up now, or more like, WHEN she's ended up now, has one of the biggest impacts on the future. ~-~The War Between Scaleswind and Phoenix Drop~-~ Now Aphmau has to decide if she wants to change time, or try and keep it the way it is. For every small revision she makes in the past, could have a HUGE impact in the future, and she has to decide what she's going to do, now and fast. Or else this blessing, or curse, whatever it was, could change the future forever. Hey!
