Izuku tries to rekindle his relationship with his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugou. Bakugou treats Izuku terribly and even gave him a nickname, "Deku" which means, "Useless." Katsuki soon goes too far with the bullying, as far as telling Izuku to kill himself and hope for a quirk in his next life. Izuku takes this advice and jumps off of the junior high roof.
