Gon Freecss, an adventurous boy from an island full of people much like him, travels to the mainland and enrolls in the infamous school known as, Hunter Academy for the Gifted Individuals. Gon is by no means, gifted in brains, so this really isn't the place for him. He gets teased for being too simpleminded and naive the very first day, but what happens when a handsome, and undoubtedly popular, boy with silvery-white hair shows up late to Gon's music class? Today, though, things are going badly. Very, badly. - Reginald Birchwood is the son of a man who is the Cardinal of a religious order of healers, in public, and a very accomplished order of supernatural predators, in the dark. He does not believe in luck, and does not feel he needs it, not in *any* conceivable situation. Until he meets Ben Cooper, an ordinary 'Salt', and *extra*ordinary *idiot*, bumbling about blindly in the dark with a Demon on his shoulder and no fear of what Reginald knows for certain lurks in the shadows, and yet he is *somehow* still alive, and *happy* about it!

this is basically just a short story that I have been writing for a competition in my English Class... the winner gets £1000 and I would love to hear any feedback.. Personally, I don't suffer from not being accepted and this is purely fiction, shining a ray of light to those who have been discriminated for their sexuality. The story could have been based on anything, as long as someone was trapped.. most people used this literally, whereas I did it metaphorically to make it more effective. I'm not trying to say if you are perfect you are a horrible person, or if you are straight you are homophobic... I'm here to say that being perfect isn't always as fun as it looks and people shouldn't care about what society wants to mould them into, and also that there are different sexualities out their different to heterosexual and you should appreciate them all... After all, we're all only human at the end of the day!
