Sometimes those spam emails aren't really spam. Sometimes they're pleading requests to help save lives. Julie, a journalist, learns that the world is far more complicated and violent than she could have ever imagined. After receiving a request for her help on a certain situation, Julie packs her bags and leaves for Palestine, a land she's never heard of, nor ever been to. Julie does not know what to expect, or if she'll even find a decent story there. But one thing leads to another and Julie finds herself a set of friends, an exploding story, and trouble. Mashal Naeem thought she knew exactly who she was until she was rescued by her neighbour, flown on a private plane and driven on a talking car, kidnapped by terrorists and learned to fight. All because of being the daughter of Naeem Ansar, the founder of Alnihayya. Where freedom is precious than blood.

Two weeks. Four students. Number one: Aarifah, with her endless struggles of maintaining a balance between her worldly and religious beliefs. Number two: Walid, with his un-ignorable past actions, and the consequences of these actions that haunt him to this day. Number three: Lexie, a girl who no matter how hard she tries could not get her heart to start beating for her rather than the boy who crushed it under his foot without giving it a second thought. Number four: Neno, the guy who has everything he wants, but not everything he needs. In these two weeks, their lives will be intertwined, their facades will be blown away, and their faith in themselves, that was buried in the confines of their hearts will resurface in the form of shores in their eyes. But one thing awaited all of them in the end, and that was; redemption.

Palestine. I have written these poems in 2015.

This very short poem is written for those who have lost and suffered through their lives and is just a reminder that their are people out there fighting til the very end in the holy grounds of Palestine as well as the many other Arab countries accompanying this horrific crisis. And remember Allah tests the ones whom he loves the most with the most severe of events. I think these sacrifices they direct to Allah alone deserve much more luxury than all of ours combined.

Inured by desert life in sixth-century Hijaz, Rami sees the birth of his newborn daughter as a burden to be buried under the sands. Before he can act, his wife Malaak flees into a barren land with their child, seeking refuge. While venturing into the unknown, her path unexpectedly intersects with Kareem's path, a young merchant who soon vows to protect the mother and her newborn when no one else will. With time, an ardent bond grows between them, and when Kareem summons the courage to declare his affection for her, he learns that he is too late. 1st place in the #gazawritesback competition. A young boy. From Gaza. Missing things that are needed, and yet you can't say anything, they're choking you though not in a direct way, your sitting on the ground, with your ripped pants and shirt, but it's not because it's the new fashion no its something entirely different, it's because of them, they stopped all the suppliers from helping you out, they took control over water and food, over electricity and other important things.
