A girl, who lives in Gaza, Palestine and has family in Ramallah, Palestine, named Haifa lives a normal, ordinary life. But in her dreams she keeps seeing a mysterious man. Will she really see him? Doubt it? Read it. She loses family, has to make decisions, and gains love. It's a test. Will she pass? [This book is not about Love its just an additional thing. It's mostly about loss and gains, blessings and rewards, trust and mystery. These poems may seem bleak and dark at first but as you read along, you'll realise that all we have to do to get over such hurdles in our lives is just to embrace the storm. [ Winner of Competitive Journeys held by Spiritual_Universe ] Junaid was not interested in proceeding on with life, not until he saw the girl dressed in a black abaya. Standing by a food truck, cooing to a kid, she seemed to be the epitome of perfection. She was all what he wanted, everything he thought he would never need. It would have been easy for him walking over to her and striking a conversation had they led a normal life. The fact remained that they were anything but normal. They lived in the refugee camp at Palestine! Living a life of restriction in their own land, will they ever find peace? What about love? Will it make its way into their lives? Sometimes those spam emails aren't really spam. Sometimes they're pleading requests to help save lives. Julie, a journalist, learns that the world is far more complicated and violent than she could have ever imagined. After receiving a request for her help on a certain situation, Julie packs her bags and leaves for Palestine, a land she's never heard of, nor ever been to. Julie does not know what to expect, or if she'll even find a decent story there. But one thing leads to another and Julie finds herself a set of friends, an exploding story, and trouble. Missing things that are needed, and yet you can't say anything, they're choking you though not in a direct way, your sitting on the ground, with your ripped pants and shirt, but it's not because it's the new fashion no its something entirely different, it's because of them, they stopped all the suppliers from helping you out, they took control over water and food, over electricity and other important things. This very short poem is written for those who have lost and suffered through their lives and is just a reminder that their are people out there fighting til the very end in the holy grounds of Palestine as well as the many other Arab countries accompanying this horrific crisis. And remember Allah tests the ones whom he loves the most with the most severe of events. I think these sacrifices they direct to Allah alone deserve much more luxury than all of ours combined.

Zach and Yasmine are two teenagers just trying to get through life by keeping their head held high and never letting their hopes drop. Although this can be hard when you're living in an illegally occupied country such as Palestine, they're there for each other. ALL the time. Yasmine is sarcastic, witty and a little controlling. Zach is quiet, annoying and indecisive. All the perfect ingredients to get on each others nerves! However they're basically twins...born apart but meant for each other from the beginning. They're Palestwinians. Join them on this journey as they challenge and learn from each other, battle the hardships of life and dream of their future....possibly a future together? Inured by desert life in sixth-century Hijaz, Rami sees the birth of his newborn daughter as a burden to be buried under the sands. Before he can act, his wife Malaak flees into a barren land with their child, seeking refuge. While venturing into the unknown, her path unexpectedly intersects with Kareem's path, a young merchant who soon vows to protect the mother and her newborn when no one else will. With time, an ardent bond grows between them, and when Kareem summons the courage to declare his affection for her, he learns that he is too late.
