Her classmates are as tight as super glue and look at her as if she came from another galaxy. The only solace Melody has is in the online journal that helps to fend off the monotony of her brand-new small-town life. In it, she writes her inner most feelings, her dumbest escapades, and her most embarrassing situations. What happens when a big city girl is thrown into the small pond? "I try to keep the fact that I'm helping her study in the back of my mind. I know that's the only reason why I've been granted this opportunity to talk to her but I desperately want to be feel that way again.. Feel normal." Just writing out my perfect nerdy fantasy.. I don't exactly have a description, this is a writing experiment. I'm trying to better my writing style. I will update the description soon once I get enough feedback and decide which direction I want to go with this story.

I'm MacKenzie Heart. With a name like that you'd expect me to be one of those hopeless romantic types; which is exactly the opposite. I'm that girl at school who's the cheer captain and everybody knows. So what goes well with a cheerleader? A quarter back boyfriend, of course! Axis and I have even together since 8th grade, but we don't really love each other. To be honest I'm not even in the least bit interested in him. We just stay together for the publicity. But when I get a math wiz touter named Sean I realize how blind I've been. I'm falling for a sexy math geek.. Is that legal?!? Who knows.. Who cares.. Maybe I should be happy just doing me instead of trying to please everyone else.
