Isabel is a seemingly normal girl with a seemingly normal life. She goes to private school and wears the girls' uniform. She wears her blonde hair in two pigtails, the way her mother likes to style it. She has a nice group of friends that are girls. But inside Isabel is a confused girl, or boy, or... something. Inside, Isabel wants to wear the boys' uniform. She wants to cut her hair short. She wants friends that are boys too. Her parents are oblivious to it. And her friends don't know what to call it. Is just a tomboy? It she transgender? Transsexual? The Internet gives even more words: genderfluid, genderqueer, gender neutral, pangender, the list goes on. Isabel just wants to know what he/she/they really is.
