Things seem to be well as the fl starts to move on from her clingy ex, when she bumps into an old friend from college and things about her past start to come up to the surface introducing her to a new type of drama. Our fl goes through this journey of getting into a new normal - she tries and fails at a life of love and secrecy to hold her over, but soon she discovers just what she needs ~ in the form of a happy surprise of course. I still haven't decided on anything so this is prone to changes and redrafts, but i hope in the end - it becomes something I can be somewhat proud of.

It's a poem about going thru the stresses of life and heart break and remembering that it will be ok someday.

"Go, just say hi!" My best friend whisper shouted and pushed me towards HIM. I planted my feet firmly on the ground and pushed back, winning. "No! I can't, it's not that simple," I growled. Everyday this kid tries to get me to talk to him. "How do you get more simple than hi!? Or hello?" He turned his foot and pushed harder. The ground was slipping from beneath my soles. At least he hadn't seen the little comotion over here. "It's complicated, just give it up!" I turned 180 and twisted out of his range. I bolted silently from the cafeteria to the girls bathroom, where he couldn't get in. I locked myself in one of the stalls, exhausted. My phone started blowing up with texts from my best friend... Most were the usual "Why won't you talk to him??" or rather intense rants with strong language and furious emojis. Why won't he understand that's it's not that simple. I can't just say hi to my crush I haven't talked to him in three years!!

We all have some event in our life- some deed, some decision, some regret that we wish we can change. We have regrets, though I don't like to call anything that I did as a regret because it eventually taught me something. But there is this thing I wish I can change in my life. Not to gain anything, but just to be a better me. Because what happened ruined me, it is ruining me and I have no idea how deep I am in this web or how much time it will take. Hell, I don't even now how to overcome this.
