Six months after Leo's first quest, and he's out of school with one thing on his mind: Nico di Angelo. Where did he go, and why did he leave? The so-called faux prophecy is beginning to seem more real by the day, as seen in visions by Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Now, Leo must prepare for a new quest, lead by Hazel Levesque, as he keeps his sister safe at camp. Their journey to a new demigod encampment will be difficult, though when they arrive, they'll discover an entire new adventure waiting to be explored.

Leo is a pizza delivery guy, and when he gets an order to one particularly strange summer camp (in winter, of all times), he discovers the key to his mysterious upbringing and a world of mythology unknown. Nico is helping Camp Half-Blood to accommodate for new campers after the Titan War. When one demigod comes in with a knack for pyrotechnics, and the two are given a quest, Nico realizes he may have to stick around with Leo for longer than just orientation.

In one world being reborn is painless, eventless, simple. That's not this world. Au where the physician's cure has consequences, and Leo doesn't come back whole.

leo and nico have to fix each other not knowing they both have some kinks to work out. This is the sequel to Broken but Mended. With Leo gone, Nico just can't seem to be, well, happy anymore. He has searched the underworld for Leo, but came up empty handed. Nico copes with Leo's death by always writing Leo a letter a day, hoping that one day Leo will write back.

I think clocks represent this ship very nicely: on the one hand, clocks are complex machines and often associated with something following a set pattern; on the other hand, clocks are used to portray the passage of time, and the inevitable end of all things. Anyway, have a dose of soulmate AUs, all featuring my two favorite boys; titled after the AU so I don't have to think titles.
