A few years after they had Bianca they had a son, but the demon and the angel's son was very ill. They feared he wouldn't make it. The angel sacrificed her life to save her son. After the angel died the demon turned cruel to his son. He was never cruel to his daughter though. Eventually that angered the half angel/ half demon, and he refused to talk to anyone.
