The boy tried to stand up to its power, but stood absolutely no chance. He would have suffered the same cruel fate as his family had he not been saved from the monster by a mysterious swordsman and his newly demonic sister. Now Tanjiro sets himself on a quest to become a Demon Slayer in order to restore the girl's humanity. Over the course of his journey he suffers constant hardship, intolerance, failure, defeat, and loss. However along the way he gains a new purpose in life and meets people who matter to him. Especially a quiet girl with a butterfly hair pin. The boy also gets involved with the politics of the world and learns the history of a lost empire that holds the keys towards destroying the demon king once and for all.

Giyu lies dying on his 25th birthday, wishing he could have done more to save the ones he loved, then he is reborn, what will happen? Demon Slayer characters and story belongs to its rightful authors. I do not own any of them.

Y/N is Sabito's younger sister who has severe amnesia. She only remeber's a few things from before training. But one thing that always stuck out to her was a certain blue haired boy. His face is blurry but she remembers. He wasn't at her orphanage and he wasn't Sabito's friend so who is he? Disclaimer: Their will probably be Manga spoilers and I can't say what Hashira she becomes because that is a Manga spoiler. Also I don't know Sabito's last name so I'm inserting a random Taisho Era Japanese name. (please don't call me out) Also I do not own Demon Slayer. Y/N is my own creation and unless I add new people she will be the only character I made. Tiny bit of cursing but not mature.

Shinobu Kocho - A girl with a sharp mind and tongue, she gets enrolled into kimetsu college after her parents died since her original college was too far away with now only her elder sister - Kanae Kocho taking care of them. Giyuu Tomioka - A man who is calm and of few words, he is mostly serious and is in kimetsu college with having only Sabito and Makomo as his friends and an older sister. He lives a relitevely normal life - that is until he hears of a new student. Shinobu is intrigued by the stoic man as she tries to befriend him, usually giving side remarks and teasing him to no end. She is annoyed of how little he responds and how he says she's like a mosquito. Giyuu, on the other hand is annoyed at how much she pesters and teases him everyday. Both consider each other rude or annoying. They were baffled when they found out they were roommates, that didn't stop the flame between them - in fact it fueled it, with both calling one another names and having arguments almost daily about stupid things such as who gets to use the bathroom in the morning first. In their minds, one another is the annoying roommate. Will they get along one day or will they despise each other? Note: This book is for fun. Some of the chapters will take inspirations from some stories so if you see a a few lines from a different story my book then that's why, I'll try my best to add the authors name for those chapters - if I remember. I'm a huge demon slayer fan so I came up with my Oc, this is purely a fanfic, and all other characters belong to Koyoharu Gotouge. Also guys just a swearing warning, like there is swear words but barely, if yall dont like that kinda stuff, totally fine, just giving you guys a heads up, trust me there is no other kind of stuff in this story if you know what I mean, but there is romance :)

So where this story starts off is when Tanjiro has become demon king. Note that this is my AU. So what that means is that there is going to be some non accurate stuff. Ships in this are MuiNezu, GiyuShino, TanKana, InoAoi, ObaMitsu, and more that I will mention later. So what basically happened Nezuko has died and appears to have been reborn in the current era which is Reiwa (令和) which is about 100 years after the last conflict. Which is three generations forward to present-day Tokyo. And she has all her memories from her last life but everyone else doesn't.
