In this AU, Giyuu is pretty sick, as a result of the hypothermia he got when he was younger (running away from his relatives) he's got a couple cardiovascular issues which Kocho is always weary about, especially since he started using the 11th form of Water Breathing, which drops his heart rate to dangerously low levels. Giyuu doesn't listen to Kocho much, after all, he feels like he deserves it. Then one day, he is sent on a mission with Shinazugawa, which he already wasn't looking forward too, but even worse, the mission was to the Northern snowy mountains.
