This is a rewrite for my first fanfic i ever made, Light In The Darkness. A Freddy x reader romance. Trapped in an abusive marriage and living in constant fear for her five-year-old daughter, Nora has exactly three months to save enough money to escape her husband for good. Taking a job at Freddy's is supposed to be temporary-just a means to an end, just survival. But the longer she stays, the more complicated everything becomes. She's pulled into the band's unresolved tension, helps them reconnect, and grows dangerously close to Freddy, whose kindness and quiet understanding make her feel safe in ways she hasn't felt in years. Feelings she can't afford begin to take root. Just when Nora starts to believe she might actually have a future-freedom from Nick, a life where she can breathe, maybe even something real with Freddy-Nick calls. He's coming back a month early. Overnight, her plans collapse. She doesn't have enough time. She doesn't have enough money. And when Nick returns, she'll be forced to quit, disappear, and lose the only place that ever felt like hope. Refusing to give up, Nora comes up with another plan. A reckless one. A dangerous one. Because if Nick finds out what she's doing, her plan may very well be the death of her.

" The bear stared as the blue light emitted from his glowing eyes, scanning as the little girl squirmed slightly. " Scanning complete. How odd. Your guest profile is unknown to me. Who are you? " He resumed talking, placing the human down as the girl looked up at him with an interested yet cautious stare. She looked down before making eye contact with the weird bear, " My name is Sys. " She meekly replied, looking around the brightly colored room and observing the toys and posters. " Sys. I will notify the main office. " He stated as the little girl began to roam around, curious. " Huh, connection error. I cannot connect to the main network. " " It's her. She cut you off. She's not going to let you call for help until she finds me. " Sys answered with a stern tone, a hint of fear lingering behind it. " Who? Who is looking for you? Your mother? " The animatronic blinked as Sys sat down on a plushie version of him. Yet the relaxation ended as she quickly shushed the bear, " Quiet! I hear footsteps. "

Gregory has never had a family, well, a real one anyway. He's never known the feeling of a mother's comfort or a father's love; honestly he doesn't really believe they exist. Not for him anyway. Never for him. So imagine his surprise when this giant himbo of a bear does everything that he's seen parents do for their children. It makes him twitchy and wary, nothing good has ever come from someone offering him that kindness. It doesn't matter that Freddy isn't human, and genuinely seems to care. It doesn't matter that the bear animatronic seems to know when the boy is a step too close to a panic attack and gently pushes back his bangs while settling a gentle hand on his back. No...the boy can't allow himself to get attached. After 6AM he'd be gone from the pizzaplex and Freddy's life, never to see him again. That's how it had to be, even if it shatters his heart.

This story takes place in the Mega Pizza Plex. Bonnie and Freddy have gave numerous hints to having feelings for eachother yet never pick up on it. Monty Gator notices this, and becomes jealous. He tries to hide his feelings for Freddy but I doubt that will be easy.
