Two doctors, one a neurologist and the other a pediatrician, are sent with a medical team to a high-complexity hospital in Phuket, Thailand, after winning a competition for an international medical mission. Both worked in different London hospitals (The Royal London and St. Thomas'), but for a couple of months, their paths crossed at St. Thomas' over the case of a young boy, Liam. They forged a deeper bond of friendship when a severe illness struck one of them. Later, their new life in Thailand, though initially tense, transforms into an adventure filled with new experiences alongside their team and their new Thai colleagues in the medical delegation. However, everything suddenly changes when a devastating tragedy strikes, and they must join forces to resist until they discover they are among the few surviving doctors.
