Gloomy Stories

This is an ongoing collection of poetry and thoughts about things I encounter in my daily life. I am a published poet and am working on this collection to publish as a complete work.

Two different places and timelines. Aaron Moore, once a 16-year-old boy looking forward to seeing his family get ahead, now is a disoriented grown-up living a never-ending nightmare. A week seems short, but for Aaron it feels like an eternity while being trapped between the walls of his beloved house. A single week in 1990 when his life is going to change completely. He never thought that a few simple whistles could be so scary, and thanks to them the lives of his loved ones will change forever, driven by madness and fallacy. In present time, stuck in a place from which it seems impossible to escape, Aaron must find out the meaning of his life. If it has been a lie, or it was all a product of a series of events that will hunt him till the day he dies.

Starstruck is a story written in the perspective of a sixteen year old girl, Cecelia, trying desperately to keep herself alive and make meaning of her life- possibly finding somebody who adds dimension.

This story is about a woman who lives with her husband and her son. However, her past catches up with her when she spots a woman outside her window. Caterina: a woman that she had a romantic relationship with before developing a family. How can she protect her family from Caterina? Is there any way out? Even the poorest has something to offer, atleast thats what they say. Me? Psssh, I struggle to get a goodbye hug from my father. He's always busy eating, breathing, sleeping, doing something that's more important than me. ---- Ryah Ellis, fifthteen; she practically raises herself. While Amaya Rose is an agreeable and extremely talented student of English literature. But her gloomy past made her the exact opposite of what she really was, a ugly- mouthed, self-hating girl now. Her blatant behavior towards Ryan made him loathe her. But will he ever come to know the reason of her bitterness? Read their romantic journey to find out.
