A rising 20-year-old goalkeeper lives for one dream, to stand at the top of world football and one day lift the Ballon d'Or. Every match, every bruise, and every sacrifice pushes him closer to that impossible goal. But when fate unexpectedly intertwines his life with Karina, a globally adored idol hiding her own exhaustion behind bright smiles and flashing cameras, his carefully planned world begins to change. The Japanese Football Association's aspiration for World Cup triumph drives them to introduce an intensive training regimen in the quest to discover the next striker for the national team. This quest lead them to an unorthodox program called Blue Lock which would determine Japan's star striker. The roster of contenders consists of three hundred high school players vying for the spot, but out of them, only a single candidate will emerge victorious. To find the best participant, each diamond in the rough must compete against others through a series of solo and team competitions to rise to the top. The best striker in the world will do anything to get to the top, even if means to destroy the lives of his opponents.

Charlie was dedicated to her job and was aiming high. She had her priorities on point and was working hard to get where she wanted. Everything was perfectly fine until she met him. The every one gets in a circle and passes the ball around whilst the main striker and I get in to the box and he takes some shots a few on the ground and up high. After a good half hour our coach gets the formation, to start of today its a 4-4-2 formation with me in the goals, the away team kick off and the game begins. ~First Book~
